No. LaxRentals is a free comparison site. When you choose a rate, you leave our site and complete the reservation on a partner website such as DiscoverCars or Rentalcars.com. Their checkout, cancellation, and insurance terms apply.
Most on-airport brands operate from the LAX Rental Car Center (often still called CONRAC). After you land, follow signs for rental cars. As of September 2026 that usually means a free airport shuttle from the lower arrivals curb (purple rental-car signs). Some off-airport companies use their own shuttle. Check your confirmation.
Rent if you need a vehicle after you fly in. Use airport parking if you already have a car in Los Angeles and are flying out. Many travelers do both on different trips. Compare cars and parking as separate products.
For a standard sedan, two to three weeks is a solid window. Book earlier for SUVs, passenger vans, holiday weekends, and award-show or convention dates. Parking reservations help most around Thanksgiving, winter holidays, and summer Fridays.
Partner sites show their own totals. Airport concession fees, facility charges, tax, young-driver fees, and extra insurance can still appear at checkout. Read the rate breakdown before you pay and verify the current amounts there.
On-airport counters at the Rental Car Center are convenient and often priced similarly once taxes and airport fees are included. Off-airport companies can be lower, but you add a shuttle ride. Compare the all-in total, not just the daily headline rate.
Many credit cards cover collision damage on rentals if you decline the partner CDW and charge the rental to that card. Liability, personal effects, and international use are different. Confirm with your card issuer and health insurance before you decline coverage. LaxRentals does not sell insurance.
Most LAX brands allow drivers 21–24 with a young-driver fee. Additional drivers may be free for a spouse or paid per day for others. Add every driver at pickup. Unlisted drivers are usually not covered.
LAWA publishes current drive-up rates and reservation options on flylax.com. Off-airport lots almost always take reservations. If you need a guaranteed space for a dawn departure, reserve an off-site lot or arrive extra early for terminal parking. Verify today’s rate on the official page or partner checkout.
Plan 10–20 minutes each way in normal traffic, longer on Friday evenings and holiday peaks. Shuttles typically run every 10–15 minutes. If your flight lands after midnight, confirm the lot still runs a shuttle.
Yes, but inventory is limited and some brands restrict large vans to drivers 25+. Book as soon as your group dates are firm. If a 15-passenger van is sold out, two minivans are often easier to find.
Sometimes, at a higher fee. Dropping a large van in another city is not always offered. Search both DiscoverCars and Rentalcars.com and read the one-way line in the quote.

No. Booking and payment happen on partner websites. We do not process cards and we cannot change a confirmation you already have.
Partners hold the cars and lots. We deep-link so you can finish under their terms. Those outbound links may be affiliate links. See How we make money.
