If you are flying out of Los Angeles and leaving your own car, you are not looking at DiscoverCars. You are choosing among official LAWA lots and off-site shuttle lots. Official drive-up rates for Central Terminal Area structures, Economy Parking, and Budget Parking are posted by Los Angeles World Airports on flylax.com/parking-at-lax. Those posted maximums change. They also include local parking tax as LAWA notes on that page. I am not going to recopy a dollar figure here that may be stale next month. Check the official board or the reservation total for your dates.
A simple rule still holds. One or two nights, kids, or a midnight return: bias toward on-airport. Three to five days: compare Economy or Budget against a reserved off-site lot. A week or more: off-site usually wins if the shuttle runs when you land. Covered parking is worth a look in August and during the rare storm.
Reservations at off-site lots are mostly about a guaranteed space and a known cancellation window, not a mystery coupon. Read shuttle hours. A lot that winds down late at night is a problem if your inbound is scheduled for 10:40 p.m. and slides. Height clearance matters if you drive a van. CTA structures publish vertical limits on the same LAWA page.

LAWA publishes current drive-up rates and reservation options on flylax.com. Off-airport lots almost always take reservations. If you need a guaranteed space for a dawn departure, reserve an off-site lot or arrive extra early for terminal parking. Verify today’s rate on the official page or partner checkout.
Plan 10–20 minutes each way in normal traffic, longer on Friday evenings and holiday peaks. Shuttles typically run every 10–15 minutes. If your flight lands after midnight, confirm the lot still runs a shuttle.
Continue to an off-airport partner with your start and end dates. Always read shuttle hours if you land late.
