Count people with car seats as people, and count hockey bags as bags. A listing that says 12 passengers rarely means 12 adults plus 12 roll-aboards. If the photo and the seat count disagree, trust the voucher. “Or similar” substitutions are common when the exact model is out.

Age rules bite harder on large vans. Many brands want the primary driver to be 25 or older for a 15-seater. Younger drivers may still be fine in a minivan, with a young-driver line on the quote.
